Certainly! Here are some frequently asked questions about curly hair extensions: 1. Determine if Extensions Are Right for You: • Before getting curly hair extensions, consider whether they align with your goals. Are you looking for versatility, a protective style, or simply extra length and volume? Understanding your needs will help you choose the right type of extensions. 3. Choose the Right Type of Extensions: • There are several types of textured hair extensions: • Sew-In Wefts: Ideal for adding length and density. • I-Tips (Similar to Micro-Links): Perfect for those who want something more permanent with versatility. • Clip-Ins: Great for self-installation, adding length, and volume. • Wigs: A protective style for self-installation while adding volume and length. 9. Match Your Extensions to Your Curls: • Ensure that your curly hair extensions match your natural curl pattern. Knowing your curl type will help you choose the correct texture and density. Fine hair types require less hair, while thicker hair types need more. 11. Installation Process: • Depending on the type of extensions, installation methods vary. Sew-in wefts, I-tips, clip-ins, and wigs each have their own application process. Choose the one that suits your preferences and lifestyle. 13. Maintenance: • Proper care is essential to maintain the longevity of your extensions. Follow guidelines for washing, conditioning, and styling. Be gentle to prevent damage and tangling. 15. Styling Restrictions: • Be aware of any restrictions on styling. Some extensions may limit certain hairstyles or heat styling. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. 17. Replacement Timing: • Extensions have a lifespan. Know when it’s time to replace them to keep your look fresh and natural. Certainly! Halo hair extensions are a popular choice for adding volume and length to your natural hair. Let’s dive into some frequently asked questions about these extensions: 1. What are Halo Hair Extensions? • Halo hair extensions are a type of temporary hair extension that you can easily apply and remove without any damage to your natural hair. They are designed with comfort in mind and are virtually undetectable when worn. • There are two main types of Halo extensions: • Original HALO®: This iconic extension is great for adding natural length and volume. It’s low-maintenance and ideal for clients new to extensions. • Layered HALO®: The most popular option, the Layered HALO® has built-in gradual layers for seamless blending with natural hair. It provides maximum volume for dense or thick hair. 6. Why Choose Halo Hair Extensions Over Permanent Methods? • Halo extensions offer a non-damaging solution without the commitment of permanent methods like tape-ins or fusion extensions. • They are easy to apply and remove, making them perfect for special occasions or everyday wear. 9. Where Can I Wear My Halo Extension? • You can wear your Halo extension anywhere! Whether it’s for a casual day out, a special event, or just to enhance your everyday look, Halos are versatile and comfortable. 11. How Do I Apply My Halo Extension? • Applying a Halo extension is simple: • Place the Halo on your head like a headband. • Pull your natural hair over the top to conceal the wire. • Style as desired! 1. Is My Hair Too Short for Halo Extensions? • Halo extensions work best with hair that is at least shoulder length. If your hair is shorter, consider other extension methods. 3. Can the Extension Piece Move Out of Place? • The Halo extension is secured by a wire that sits comfortably on your head. It should stay in place if properly adjusted. 5. Will Clip-In Halo Extensions Damage My Natural Hair? • No, clip-in Halo extensions are safe for your natural hair. They don’t cause damage when applied correctly. 7. Is My Hair Too Thin for Halo Hair Extensions? • Halo extensions are suitable for various hair types, including thin hair. The Layered HALO® provides extra volume for thin or fine hair. Remember to choose the right Halo extension based on your hair type and desired look. If you have any specific color preferences, check out the available color charts from Wow Hairs. Certainly! Hair streaks are a fun way to add a pop of color to your hair without committing to an all-over dye job. Whether you’re looking for subtle highlights or bold statements, here are some frequently asked questions about hair streaks: 1. What Are Hair Streaks? • Hair streaks are sections of hair that are colored differently from the rest of your hair. They can be thin or wide, subtle or vibrant, and are often strategically placed to create dimension and visual interest. 3. How Do Hair Streaks Look? • The appearance of hair streaks depends on various factors: • Color: You can choose natural shades (like blonde or brunette) or go for bold colors (such as turquoise or pink). • Placement: Streaks can be placed near the front, throughout the hair, or as face-framing highlights. • Thickness: Tiny streaks blend seamlessly with your base color, while thicker streaks create more contrast. • Individual Style: Hair streaks can be customized to match your haircut, texture, and personal style. 9. What’s the Difference Between Hair Streaks and Highlights? • Highlights are usually applied to thin sections of hair, creating a natural, blended effect. They enhance your overall hair color. • Hair streaks, on the other hand, are applied to thicker chunks of hair. They can be more noticeable and are often used for creative or statement looks. 12. Placement and Complementing Shades: • Consult with a colorist to determine the best placement for your streaks. Consider: • Skin Tone: Choose shades that complement your skin tone. • Hair Color: Decide whether you want contrast or a harmonious blend. • Haircut and Texture: Placement should match your hairstyle. • Width and Blending: Decide how wide and blended you want the streaks to be. 18. Certainly! Hair toppers are gaining popularity for a reason—they offer a natural-looking solution for adding volume, concealing thinning hair, or covering specific areas. Whether you’re a seasoned hairpiece user or just starting to explore your options, let’s dive into some frequently asked questions about hair toppers:   1. What Is a Hair Topper? • A hair topper is a hairpiece specifically designed to cover areas of thinning hair or baldness on the top of the head. • Unlike wigs that cover the entire head, toppers offer a more targeted solution by adding volume and coverage to specific areas such as the crown or hairline. 4. How Do Hair Toppers Work? • Hair toppers work by seamlessly integrating with your existing hair. They attach to the scalp using various methods, such as pressure-sensitive clips, combs, or clips with silicone lining. • The base construction of a topper is crucial for both security and comfort. It can be made from materials like monofilament (for a realistic scalp appearance), lace (for a natural hairline and ventilation), or PU (polyurethane, a lightweight material with secure attachment options). 7. What Are the Benefits of Hair Toppers? • Natural-looking volume: Toppers enhance your natural beauty by adding fullness that blends seamlessly with your own hair. • Concealment: They effectively cover areas of thinning hair, hairline recession, or scarring. • Confidence boost: Increased volume and coverage can significantly boost your confidence and self-esteem. • Versatility: Toppers come in various styles, lengths, and densities, allowing you to achieve the desired fullness and match your natural hair. • Non-surgical solution: Hair toppers offer a non-invasive approach to addressing hair concerns. • Low maintenance: Compared to wigs, toppers require minimal daily maintenance and styling. 14. How Do I Choose the Right Topper? • With a wide variety of hair toppers available, selecting the perfect one is crucial. Consider factors such as the base construction, attachment method, hair type (human hair or *synthetic), and the specific area you want to cover. • Consult with Wow Hairs professionals or explore different options at www.wowhairs.com to find the topper that suits your needs best. How to Care for Natural Hair Naturally?   Discover tips to soften, add moisture and keep your natural black hair healthy with my exclusive natural hair treatment.   Afro-textured hair is the driest of hair types, and with my exclusive natural hair mask, you can add moisture to your natural hair to improve your hair health and texture. Discover how to add moisture and soften natural hair with my nourishing natural hair product.   I have over 35 years of experience in the salon business, and in this blog, I’ll share my expert advice on how to care for natural hair.     Natural Hair | Overview All curly hair has dips and lifts, making it uneven. That uneven structure leaves it prone to frizz, breakage and moisture loss.   Afro-textured coily curls are a small curl type. The tight coils are more fragile as they have more dips and lifts, making the hair more prone to breakage.   That breakage results in moisture loss. Adding moisture to your hair will improve the flexibility of the hair structure, prevent breakage and help your hair retain moisture.   Adding moisture to your hair is the priority for natural hair.   Afro-textured coily hair is often, not always, dense. Density makes the hair more prone to moisture loss.   This curly hair type is thirsty, and building a routine of deep conditioning is the answer to achieving healthy, soft, natural hair.   Natural black hair requires regular moisture boosts to maintain flexibility and avoid breakage and moisture loss.   Adding moisture to your hair will give you more clearly defined curls. Plus, the added moisture will leave your hair flexible, frizz-free and easy to style.   In this blog, I’ll share my expert advice on how to add moisture to natural hair.   Moisture is the foundation of healthy hair. Build a good foundation with a hair care routine using a good quality natural hair mask for healthy natural hair.     How to Care for Natural Hair?   1. Deep Condition   To maintain the moisture in natural black hair, I recommend deep conditioning with Restore and Shine Hair Masque once a week. My exclusive formula expertly blends pro vitamin b5 with glycerin for a perfectly balanced moisture boost.   Pro-vitamin B5 is one of the few ingredients that can penetrate the cuticle to get moisture to the hair’s core. Glycerin helps prevent moisture loss by smoothing and sealing the cuticle.   2. Take Care when Detangling Natural Hair.   Your hair is at its most fragile after washing. Treat it like a delicate fabric. A microfibre towel is a good investment for drying hair without damaging the cuticle.   Wrap your hair in a towel for a few minutes, and then gently squeeze the hair with the towel to soak up any excess water. Your hair should be damp but not dripping wet. You can detangle hair at this stage, being careful not to pull at the roots.   Use products that can help you detangle the hair.   Restore and Shine Hair Masque is the best product for detangling coily or afro-textured hair. With emollients such as glycerin, avocado oil and tocopherol (vitamin E), you can feed this deep conditioner into the ends of afro-textured hair to detangle and soften. Your hair will absolutely love those nourishing ingredients. Take sections of hair and gently hold them at the mid-lengths, avoiding tension at the roots. Use a wide-tooth or afro comb to tease out any tangles at the ends of the hair.   3. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate   Hydrate your natural hair daily. I recommend a spritz of Styling Mist for Glossy Finish. A blend of argan oil, keratin, pro vitamin b5, glycerin and sugar beet for added moisture, it’s the perfect nourishing blend for natural hair.   You can do this on dry hair. A couple of spritzes will do. Let it settle on hair, leaving it softer, with less breakage and improved elasticity. Its nourishing ingredients are also moisturising for your scalp. Be careful not to overload the hair. If your hair easily absorbs moisture, you can use more product. If your hair is slow to absorb moisture, use less product. Using a little every day will help to maintain healthy, natural hair.   4. Avoid Heat   Heat exacerbates dryness in natural hair. I recommend letting your hair air dry. It may take time, but it’s much less damaging for the hair and will help to promote good condition. Wash your hair in warm, not hot, water to maintain condition. Gently squeezing as much excess water out of your hair with a microfibre towel will help to speed up drying time.   5. Wear a Silk or Satin Bonnet Choosing a silk or satin bonnet is the best way of caring for afro-textured hair overnight. They reduce the friction as you move your head overnight, helping to protect against split ends. They also help to retain the curl definition of hair and prevent breakage and tangles. The bonnet is ideal when you use a hair treatment to hydrate your hair overnight. It will stop the product from marking your pillowcase and intensify the treatment.   6. Give your Hair a Break   Environmental factors play their part in drying out hair; sun, wind, pollution, air conditioning and central heating can all have an impact. If you want to give your hair a break from styling, a scarf is a great option to save time and protect your hair from the elements.      How to Care for Natural Hair | Density   Understanding the density of your hair gives you more information and knowledge about caring for your curls.   Density is all about how much hair you’ve got; it makes a difference in how you care for your hair.   Low-density hair needs less moisture than High-Density hair.   So, when you use Restore and Shine Hair Masque to add moisture to your natural hair, use less product on low-density hair than on high-density hair.   You can check your hair density below. 1. Low Density Hair                        -              You can easily see your scalp when parting dry hair. 2. Medium Density Hair               -              You can only partially see your scalp when parting dry hair. 3. High Density Hair                       -              It’s difficult to see the scalp and partings don’t hold easily.       Natural Black Hair | Tips and Take Aways   Taking care of natural hair shouldn’t be complicated. Follow my guide to develop a routine of looking after your own unique natural curls. Give your natural hair love and attention it deserves.   1. Deep Condition Natural Hair A weekly deep conditioning hair mask is essential for maintaining moisture and sealing the cuticle to fight frizz, dryness, and tangles to leave natural hair shiny and healthy. Opt for a good quality hair mask.   2. Detangle with Care Be gentle when detangling natural hair. Avoid tension at the roots and use Restore and Shine Hair Masque to soften and detangle the hair naturally.   3. Hydrate Hair Daily Hydrate natural hair daily with Styling Mist for Glossy Finish. My exclusive formula blends argan oil, keratin, pro vitamin b5, glycerin and sugar beet for the best natural hair care.   4. Keep Heat to a Minimum Wash natural hair in warm water and avoid heated styling.   5. Go for Satin or Silk Reduce dryness and breakage of natural hair by sleeping on a silk or satin pillow, turn down the heat on your hairdryer and wash hair in warm, not hot water.   6. Choose Gentle Microfibre Towels Invest in a microfibre towel to avoid breakage and damage to natural hair when it’s most fragile after washing.   7. It's a Wrap! Wrapping natural hair in a scarf can prevent the elements from drying out your hair.

As we age, our hair changes, potentially becoming thinner or greying. However, this doesn't hinder our ability to experiment with hairstyles. One of the timeless trends in haircuts for aging hair is the Butterfly Haircut. Not only is this style chic and modern, but it also imparts dynamism to the hair.   What is a Butterfly Haircut? The Butterfly style, also known as the Butterfly Layers Haircut, involves cutting the hair in layers so that it falls freely and naturally, resembling the wings of a butterfly. This haircut is particularly beneficial for those with thinning hair as it adds movement.   Why Choose a Butterfly Haircut? The butterfly haircut is not just a style statement; it's a strategic choice. Here's why: • More Volume: The layered design naturally enhances volume and texture, providing a lively bounce, which is especially beneficial for fine or flat hair. • Adaptable Design: The butterfly haircut is a versatile style that can be tailored to various hair types, textures, and lengths. This flexibility allows you to customize the haircut to your liking, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of face shapes and personal styles. • Easy Maintenance: Unlike some other styles, this haircut is relatively easy to maintain due to its inherent volume and texture, reducing the need for extensive daily styling. • Timeless Appeal: This haircut evokes a sense of elegance and sophistication. This timeless quality makes it a popular choice for those seeking a chic and modern look that transcends passing trends.   How to Style a Butterfly Haircut Styling a Butterfly Haircut is straightforward. Here are some hairstyles to maximize the potential of your new haircut:   • Preparation: Start by washing and conditioning your hair with volumizing products to add volume and shine, and use a rinse-out or leave-in conditioner for anti-breakage properties. • Add Volume: Blow dry your hair using a lifting spray and a brush. For instance, our Lift Me Up Hair Thickener is a great choice. This product is designed to add volume and thickness to your hair, making it perfect for styling a Butterfly Haircut. • Create Soft Waves: Use gentle methods to achieve wavy hair without causing damage, and to add texture and dimension to the hair. This will enhance the layered look of the Butterfly Haircut. • Polished Look: Part your hair down the center for a polished appearance that highlights your natural bone structure. • Use Texture Hairspray: Apply some hairspray to showcase the layers. Our Wake-Up Call Thickening Hairspray is an excellent option since it provides a flexible hold without weighing down your hair. It lets you maintain the soft and flowy look of the Butterfly haircut while keeping your layers in place. • Wispy Layers: Adding bangs to a butterfly cut can change the style's overall look and help balance out the face shape. Wispy bangs can add softness and create a more delicate, feminine look. • A Touch of Shine: Use a quality mousse to add shine. The Better Not Younger Wake Up Call Style Memory Mousse not only enhances body and texture but also adds that extra touch of shine that makes all the difference in your style. Additionally, it provides a memory hold that lasts up to 48 hours, ensuring your layers maintain their shape throughout the day. *Bonus Tip: To maintain the volume and movement of your Butterfly Haircut, consider scheduled trims every 6-8 weeks. This keeps the layers fresh, prevents split ends, and ensures your wings remain light and airy.   Just remember, whether you prefer a sleek, straight look or embrace waves, this haircut offers endless styling possibilities. You can rock this trendy haircut with the right products and care while maintaining its versatility.

1. What’s the Difference Between Human Hair and Synthetic Hair Wigs? • Human Hair Wigs: Sourced from real human hair, these wigs offer an unparalleled natural look and versatility in styling. They demand a care routine similar to natural hair, including regular washing and deep conditioning. Opt for sulfate-free hair care products and those formulated for color-treated hair to maintain the wig’s health and shine • *Synthetic Wigs: These wigs are made from plastic fibers and are designed to mimic the look and feel of human hair. They hold their style well but require specific care to avoid damage from heat and friction. Use cool water and synthetic-friendly products for cleaning and maintenance. 4. Why Does Proper Wig Care Matter? • Proper wig care: • Preserves Appearance: Regular maintenance keeps your wig looking shiny, smooth, and tangle-free. • Extends Lifespan: A well-cared-for wig can last significantly longer, providing value for your investment. • Promotes Comfort: Clean wigs are more comfortable to wear, reducing scalp irritation. • Enhances Natural Look: Proper care helps maintain the wig’s style and volume, ensuring a natural appearance. 10. Recommended Wig Care Routine: • Human Hair Wigs: Brush gently and consider applying a light, leave-in conditioner to keep the hair soft and manageable. These extensions allow you to add length and volume to your natural hair without professional installation. They are considered semi-permanent and can be easily attached or detached from your own hair. 3. Why choose clip-in extensions? • Ease of Use: Clip-ins don’t require glue, heat, fusion, braids, or clamps. You can attach and detach them yourself. • Versatility: Change your hairstyle for special events or daily wear. • Low Maintenance: Clip-ins need minimal care compared to other extensions. • Flexibility: Wear them when you want, without a salon visit. • Reusability: Clip-ins can be used multiple times. 9. How do I apply clip-in hair extensions? • Here’s a basic guide: • Section Your Hair: Divide your hair horizontally, creating a section where you want to attach the extensions. • Clip Placement: Open the clips on the wefts and attach them close to the scalp. • Blend and Style: Comb your natural hair over the extensions for a seamless look. • Enjoy!: Voilà! You’ve transformed your hair
